Lately,
I have mostly focused on distributed control design; a sub-branch
of control theory. Given a system composed of a large number of interacting units, the goal is to synthesize
a controller with the same interconnection topology.
This turns out to be a convex problem in general... Please see the relevant

I joined Caltech in the fall of
2004, after receiving my Ph.D. in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics
from Cornell University. Before that, I studied Aerospace Engineering at
Supaéro and Dynamical Systems at INLN.
